    October 21-29, Opening Reception: Saturday, October 21, 12 - 6pm
Sweet Lorraine Gallery, 183 Lorraine Street, 3rd Floor

Material Process is a multimedia exhibition of artworks by eleven artists working at TI Art Studios in Gowanus/Red Hook Brooklyn—Jacob Faber, Judy Hugentobler, Sara Jones, Katherine Keltner, Kakyoung Lee, Casey Lin, Janice McDonnell, Spencer Merolla, AV Ryan, Traci Talasco, and Alexa Williams. The exhibition examines how materials and process hold influence over an artistic practice and the ways in which each artist dictates her own aesthetic and conceptual sensibilities through her chosen media. Organized in conjunction with the annual Gowanus Open Studios, the reception for Material Process will coincide with the opening of artists workspaces to the public throughout the weekend of October 21-22.

  • Gowanus Open Studios 2017

    October 21 and 22, 12-6
My studio: 183 Lorraine Street, Studio #2

Come out for a free annual weekend event. Artists in the Gowanus neighborhood (and slightly beyond) open their studio doors and welcome the public to view art, meet the artists, learn about the process of art-making, and get a glimpse of the life of artists. I'm in #2 and will be showing some new work. I also have a piece in our gallery's show, Material Process.
